Description
Set of three photos of the same man at various ages. Likely, these are photos of Oscar True Brown (1856-1932) of Milford and Old Town. The oldest photo shows him in workmanlike clothing with a full shock of hair. The second photo, taken by C. L. Marston's in Bangor shows less beard and less hair. Finally, the third photo, dated Nov. 27, 1886 (when Brown would have been 30 years old), was taken by C. M. Bell in Washington D.C. and shows less hair and no beard. Possibly this photo was taken en route between Maine and Minnesota, where he was living in the 1880s.
