Description
Cabinet photo of a four or five year old girl and a baby. Likely depicting Sarah ("Sadie") Brown (b. 1886) and Arline Brown (b.1890), two of the four daughters of Oscar True Brown (1856-1932) and his wife Edith Prentiss (1860-1940), originally of Milford and later of Old Town. Photo taken by the Lenz Brothers in Dubuque Iowa, probably en route between Fergus Falls, Minnesota (where the family was living until 1891) and O.T. Brown's home town. On the back, the name “Sadie” is written.
