Programs

The Old Town Museum frequently schedules historical or public interest programs during the Summer Months. These programs are open to the public. Nearly all of these Programs are free but donations are appreciated. Occasionally a Program is also a “Fund Raising Event”. Most programs are a hour long. Sunday afternoon programs normally begin at 2:00 pm but please check the calendar or local newspaper.

Scheduled Events in the near future:

April 13, 2015 (Monday): 7:00 pm  – General Veazie’s Road – Railroading in the Old Town Area presented by Betsy Paradis. Co-sponsored with the Old Town Library – Program will be held at the Old Town Library.

April 29, 2015 (Wednesday): 7:00 pm – WOW Plants for the Maine Garden – This is an Hirundo Program being held at the Old Town Museum.

May 18, 2015 (Monday): 7:00 pm – Long Term Impact of Childhood Trauma presented by Mary Wilson.  Co-sponsored with the Old Town Library – Program will be held at the Old Town Library.

May 31, 2015 (Sunday): 2:00 pm – Old Town’s 175 Anniversary Celebration – Essays, poems and music – This is the opening “Sunday Afternoon Program for the Museum and will be held at the Museum.
